Grow cat grass on a windowsill without a bag of compost in the house. This cup does it with water alone. Seeds sit on a honeycomb lid, the roots grow down through it into the reservoir below, and the grass comes up clean enough to cut with scissors.

No Soil At All
Three parts, a reservoir, a tray and a honeycomb lid. Fill the base with water, spread the seed on the lid, and nothing ends up tracked across the floor.
Lift And Water
The tray lifts straight out, so you change the water and check the roots without disturbing the grass. Cutting is easier too, the whole crop comes up to one level.
Use It Again
Food grade PP, washes out, and you start the next crop the same day. Nothing to replace between sowings.
