Our story

Wild & Cat started in 2026 with a simple observation: most of what is sold for cats is designed to please the person holding the credit card. The collar photographs well and slips off in a hedge. The bed is the right shade of grey and gets ignored for the cardboard box it came in. We wanted a shop where every product had first been chosen from the cat's side of the argument.

Two kinds of cats

Roughly two thirds of British cats go outside, and a growing third never do. They do not need the same things. The garden wanderer needs a collar that releases if it snags, a strip that catches headlights at dusk and, for the ones who push their luck, a tracker. The cat who stays in needs the opposite: somewhere to climb, something to scratch that is not the sofa, running water they will actually drink, and a litter corner that does not announce itself to the whole flat. So the range has two halves, Outside and Home, and we try to be equally serious about both.

What we choose, and what we leave out

We would rather sell one good fountain than five average ones. Every product on the site has been measured, weighed and compared against the alternatives before it earns its place: the buckle has to release under pressure, the sizing has to mean what it says, the fabric has to survive a washing machine, the ceramic has to be glazed properly. When something is not good enough, it does not go on the site, however nice it looks in the photos. Prices are set once and left alone, so the price you see is the price it costs, not a discount waiting to happen.

Delivered properly

Delivery is free on every UK order, with no minimum to reach. We pay the duty before your parcel leaves, so there is never a surprise at the door. Orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours and typically arrive within 7 to 11 days. If something is not right, or your cat simply disagrees with your choice, you have 30 days to send it back and the return label is on us.

Wild & Cat is run by a small team based in London, trading as NWND LTD. We read and answer every email ourselves, and the sizing questions we get from customers shape what we stock next.
